1. Purpose

These terms set out the rights and obligations of ElpisIA and of the buyer in connection with the sale of digital products: software applications (e.g. Polyapps for macOS) and online courses.

2. Products and prices

Products are described on their respective pages. Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included. Some products are currently offered free of charge (€0); ElpisIA reserves the right to change its prices at any time, the applicable price being the one in force at the time of the order.

3. Orders

The order is confirmed once validated by the buyer. A confirmation e-mail summarises the order. Creating an account may be necessary to access downloads and courses.

4. Payment

Payment is made online using the methods offered at checkout (e.g. bank card, PayPal). No payment is required for free orders.

5. Delivery

Applications are supplied by immediate download after the order. Access to courses is opened on formations.elpisia.com, with an access link sent by e-mail once the order is validated.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied immediately where the buyer has expressly consented to immediate performance and waived that right. In all other cases, the buyer has 14 days to exercise it: contact form.

7. Warranties and liability

Products benefit from the statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects. ElpisIA cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the products. Applications are supplied “as is”; their proper operation depends on the compatibility of the buyer’s hardware (e.g. macOS 13 or later for Polyapps).

8. Personal data

Data processing is described in our Privacy policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. In accordance with applicable regulations, a consumer buyer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. Contact: contact form.

Affiliate links and third-party products

Some products presented on ElpisIA (in particular the Hardware and Software categories) are offered through affiliate links. When you click the button to access the offer, you are redirected to a third-party seller’s site (for example Amazon, AliExpress or any other partner merchant), where the entire transaction takes place. No purchase is made on ElpisIA. ElpisIA may receive an affiliate commission in the event of a purchase, at no additional cost to you.

ElpisIA is not the seller of these products and accepts no liability in respect of them. Price, availability, descriptions, specifications, ordering, payment, delivery, warranties, after-sales service and any dispute fall exclusively to the third-party seller and to its own terms and conditions, which we invite you to consult before any purchase.

The information shown on ElpisIA (prices, descriptions, images) is provided for guidance only, may come from third-party sources and may differ from that found on the merchant’s site at the time of purchase. By using these links, you acknowledge and accept that ElpisIA cannot be held liable for the products, services or transactions carried out with third-party sellers.

These terms are a translation provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
